Legal
Terms of service
(draft).
The working terms between SKiPSWEB and its clients, written in plain language so that both sides can tell what was agreed.
Last updated: 14 October 2026
1. Who this is between
"SKiPSWEB" means the web design and development business operating at skipsweb.com. "You" means the client commissioning work. Needs owner input Registered legal entity name and jurisdiction
2. Quotes and scope
Work is quoted in writing before it begins, and the quote states what is included. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately and agreed before it is built, never invoiced afterwards as a surprise.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
3. Payment
Nothing is payable before you have seen the work. You see the site functioning before payment is due. Hosting, where provided, is billed on its own recurring cycle beginning at launch.
Needs owner input Payment terms accepted methods, invoice due period, late-payment position, refund position
4. What you provide
You provide the content — text, photographs and anything else that appears on the site — and you confirm that you have the right to use it. This matters particularly for photography: if a photographer holds the copyright, you need their permission to publish it, and SKiPSWEB cannot grant it on your behalf.
Projects are typically delayed by content rather than by development. Timelines assume content arrives when agreed.
5. Who owns what
- Your domain name is registered in your name and is yours absolutely. You can transfer it away at any time without permission.
- Your content remains yours.
- The finished website — the design and the code written for you — is yours on final payment.
- General-purpose components and techniques reused across projects remain SKiPSWEB's to reuse. Your site is yours; the toolbox is not exclusive to it.
- Third-party components (fonts, libraries, stock imagery) stay under their own licences, which are identified to you.
6. Confidentiality and publicity
Your identity as a client is confidential by default. Your site will not be shown in the portfolio, named as a reference, or used in any marketing unless you give explicit permission — and you can withdraw that permission later.
A design credit in your site's footer is optional and off unless you ask for it.
7. Hosting and support
Where SKiPSWEB provides hosting, it includes TLS certificates, platform updates, daily off-server backups and monitoring. Specific service levels — response times, retention periods and any uptime commitment — are agreed individually and are not implied by this page.
No uptime percentage is claimed anywhere on this site, and none should be inferred.
8. What cannot be promised
Honestly and specifically:
- Search rankings. No position in any search engine can be guaranteed by anyone.
- Third-party decisions. Registrars, payment processors, advertising networks, directories and social platforms make their own choices about adult-industry content and may change them without notice.
- Business outcomes. A website is a tool. How well it works depends on many things outside anyone's control.
9. Acceptable use
SKiPSWEB builds for legal adult businesses. Work will not be undertaken, and hosting will be withdrawn, for anything involving minors, coercion, trafficking, non-consensual material, or content unlawful in the relevant jurisdiction. This is not negotiable and is the one circumstance in which service is terminated without notice.
10. Ending the relationship
You can stop working with SKiPSWEB at any time. You take the site: the code, the content, the database and the documentation, in a form another developer can use, and your domain moves whenever you say so.
Work completed up to that point is payable. Hosting continues until the end of the period already paid for.
11. Liability
Needs owner input Liability limitation clause This section needs a lawyer. Do not publish invented limits.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The version that applies to your project is the one in force when the work was agreed, and material changes will be communicated directly rather than only posted here.
13. Questions
Write to skip@skipsweb.com.
Needs owner input Full legal review before launch Sections 3, 11 and the entity details in section 1 are incomplete by design
